I have finally started a blog.  I struggled a bit with what piece of software to use. In the end I settled on dasBlog but don't know what I think of the fact that it uses XML files to store contents. It is an elegant and simple solution but having content in SQL Server would make my backups easier given my hosting arrangment and environment. Overall, dasBlog was very easy to install and setup.
